What is Spacebook?

Spacebook is a searchable database of topological spaces and their properties (in ZFC) inspired by Steen and Seebach’s Counterexamples in Topology.

How do I use it?

• If your question is “Which spaces have this property, but not that property?”, visit the search page.
• If your question is “Which properties does a particular space possess?”, visit the list page.

Where can I find more information about the spaces and properties?

• Google Books hosts a limited preview of Counterexamples in Topology.
• Wikipedia has articles about many of the spaces.
• Contact the administrator.

How can I contribute?

• Report any incorrect claims you encounter.
• View a space in detail on the list page to see gaps in the database’s knowledge.
• Suggest a new space with a particularly rare combination of properties.
• Suggest an interesting property not appearing in the database.
